Be Prepared

What to Bring on Pick Day

Sun Protection
Florida sun is intense even in spring. Hat, sunscreen, and UV-blocking clothing go a long way out in the field.
Water & Snacks
Stay hydrated — picking is more physical than it looks. There's plenty of blueberry snacking on-site, but bring extra water.
Closed-Toe Shoes
The rows are grassy but uneven. Sneakers or boots are best — sandals and flip-flops aren't ideal for the field.
Cash or Card
We accept both. Berries are weighed and priced at $5/lb at checkout. No pre-payment required.
The Whole Family
Kids love it. Strollers are manageable on the main path. Plenty of room to roam safely between the rows.
A Big Appetite
These are fresh, pesticide-free blueberries at peak ripeness — eating as you pick is half the experience. We don't mind.

Tips for a Great Pick

Tip 01

Go Early in the Season

Early April tends to be the sweetest window — the first-ripe berries have had more time on the bush. Later in May, you'll still find plenty but the crowd is lighter.

Tip 02

Look for Deep Blue

A ripe blueberry is a deep, uniform blue-purple with no red or green blush. Give the berry a gentle tug — if it comes off easily, it's ready. Resistance means it needs more time.
